In-house, multi-brand marketing department has an opening for a full time web development & online content assistant to be an important part of our aggressive advertising/marketing efforts to the passion-based performance automotive enthusiast. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the implantation and maintenance of all web based content, graphics and product data. While this is a junior level position in our current team structure, it has great growth potential and the right candidate could easily develop into a senior level web developer or online marketing coordinator.

The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated multi-tasker, balancing routine duties with more complex and long-term projects. Candidate must possess the ability to effectively balance competing/changing priorities with keen attention to detail, accuracy and awareness of deadlines. Ability to work both as an individual and team member is a MUST. Our experience has proven that those with an interest or passion for the performance automotive market have a greater level of success within our company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Updating and editing new content and some graphics for a large number of online properties targeted toward automotive enthusiasts
• Entry level web development and programming work with an ability to expanded as employee skill set warrants
• Make content revisions to web pages, including working with marketing team members to update product descriptions, pricing, features, benefits, photos and other data
• Extensively test all website links & functionality to ensure that the customer experience is “as intended.” Report problems to appropriate team member or take appropriate action to immediately correct.
• Coordinate with full marketing team to verify accuracy of data and links
• Update and remove online content as assigned; however taking initiative and not waiting to be directed is a MUST
• Coordinate content integration and updates with web development and marketing team
• Research the latest developments related to effectively utilizing Magento Enterprise CMS for e-commerce and WordPress for content presentation
• Stay up-to-date on the latest content management tools to facilitate content development and updates
• An ability to constantly find better and more efficient ways to complete the job

Qualifications:

• At least one year related professional experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Working knowledge and/or an interest in web content development, web technologies and communications
• Well organized with ability to manage multiple project deadlines effectively; detail oriented personality a MUST
• Ability to work with e-commerce & CMS applications, especially Magento Enterprise and WordPress
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Web Technologies, Communications, Journalism or related field preferred
• Ability to satisfy all the basic requirements of a full time professional level job, such as a set work schedule and reliable transportation to/from our Memphis location (near airport)
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
• Automotive interest strongly preferred

Must be able to provide examples of recent work related to above skill sets.
